For her master's thesis, Peace Corps volunteer Sarah Heyman has been taking water samples
from wells and showing the considerable improvement compared to the contamination levels of the
traditional water sources.
She and other Peace Corps volunteers have reported that the wells are regularly used, especially
during the drought season.
Once we arrive, we partner directly with Guaimi community leaders to identify the most
needy in their community.
Then we get to work.
Since we're buying the supplies ourselves, we know that 100% of the donated funds
are going directly to installing water tanks and drilling wells in the community.
